Mission

To support the mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing of individuals and communities through accessible, relationship-based and creative, body-based approaches that build resilience, confidence, and lifelong skills.

Vision

A world where schools and communities are equipped to nurture the whole person, where mental health is valued as much as physical health, and everyone has the tools, support, and safe spaces they need to thrive.

Why BASE Matters

Mental health challenges are rising across all ages, yet access to support is still falling behind. In England, around 1.7 million people are currently on mental health waiting lists, and many wait months, or even over a year, for help.

At the same time, demand continues to grow, with over 2 million people already in contact with mental health services.

Too often, people only receive support when problems have escalated. BASE changes this by providing early, accessible support through mentoring, training, and therapeutic services, helping individuals, schools, and communities build resilience before challenges become crises.
